How to use Resonance Studio
Four simple tabs at the top of every page. Here's what each one does and where to start.
- 1
Connect your keyboard
Plug a USB-MIDI keyboard into your computer (or pair via Bluetooth MIDI). No keyboard? Allow microphone access and we'll detect notes from your acoustic piano.
- 2
Open the Play tab
Press any key — it lights up on screen with its note name. Use this to confirm your keyboard is detected before practicing.
- 3
Pick a song in Library
Choose a built-in classical piece. Colored bars fall down each key's column — press the matching key on your real piano when the bar reaches the bottom. Turn on 'Wait for me' to pause until you hit each note.
- 4
Learn to read sheet music
Open Learn → 'Read Music — graded path' for 7 levels from the staff to sight-reading. Each level shows real notation and has a Falling-note lights checkbox so you can practice with the lights ON as a safety net, then turn them OFF when you're ready to read on your own.
